What is Storylines: Passion & Fashion?

Storylines: Passion & Fashion is a 3-D interactive storytelling game. Your choices affect the story and your relationships with character. Players can customize their characters and choose from hundreds of fashion options to create glamorous outfits.

What are Gems?

Gems are a type of currency in the game. Gems can be purchased in the store or rewarded by watching an ad or by completing a chapter. Gems are used to purchase other currency types in the game, as well as clothing items.

What are Mood Charms?

Mood Charms are used in stories to unlock choices, change your relationships with characters and permanently alter the story. Use a Mood Charm to start a new romance, mend a friendship ... or end one!

Mood charms can be purchased using gems in the store or rewarded by watching an ad or by completing a chapter. There are 4 types of mood charms; Romantic, Empathetic, Bold, and Brash.

What are Style Tokens?

Style Tokens are used to permanently increase the Style Rating of your clothing. See those little stars at the top of the screen? Use Style Tokens to increase the number of stars. A higher Style Rating will unlock more exciting story possibilities and outcomes!

Some clothing items have an inherently higher Style Rating and require less Style Tokens to fully upgrade.

Style Tokens can be purchased using gems in the store or rewarded by watching an ad or by completing a chapter. Style Tokens are used to upgrade the style rating of owned clothing items.

What are Tickets?

Tickets are used to play the next chapter of a book. Tickets can be earned every hour (up to a maximum of 2) or can be purchased using Gems in the store.

What is a Premium Choice?

A Premium Choice is a choice that requires the use of Gems, Mood Charms, or by meeting a Style Rating requirement with a customized outfit.

How do I meet a Style Rating requirement?

Meeting a Style Ratings requirement depends on two factors. First, players must build an outfit with the correct Style Tag. Style Tags such as “Smart”, “Trendy”, “Formal” and “Beach” ensure you’re always wearing the right outfit for the right occasion.

Second, the Player’s outfit must meet the minimal Style Rating. For example, unlocking a choice or parts of the story may depend on the Player having a “3-Star, Trendy outfit.”

Players can choose clothing from their closet with the corresponding Style Tag, as well as upgrade the Style Rating of the chosen clothing items with Style Tokens.

How do I customize my character?

Players can customize their character’s appearance in the character customizer and their character’s outfit and makeup in the closet. As for how “should you” customize your character, that’s entirely up to you!

How do I change my character’s gender?

Gender and physical appearance are independent in Storylines. Your character’s gender identity is up to you. A character’s pronoun will only effect how other characters refer to them in dialogue. To change your character’s pronoun select SHE, HE, or THEY under PRONOUN on the CHOOSE APPEARANCE screen.

What are the different clothing tiers?

Clothing can fall under 4 different clothing tiers; Common, Rare, Designer, and Couture – each with a co-responding Style Rating.

Common items are 1-Star. Rare items are 2-Star. Designer items are 3-Star. Couture items are 4-Star.

Rare clothing cannot be purchased in the store. You’ll have to unlock a unique ending to a story to be rewarded with a Rare item.

How do I replay a story?

Players can replay a story by pressing the restart button in the top left corner of book card.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to replay individual chapters and players can only replay books from the beginning.

But who knows? Maybe a do-over to make different choices will lead to exciting new twists in the story ...

How do I transfer or restore your Storylines account on a new device?

Players can transfer or restore their Storylines account on a new device by signing into their Apple or Google login that is linked with their Storylines account.

How do I delete my data?

Open the "hamburger menu" on the top right of the game. Select Account, and press the Delete button. Click OKAY when prompted. All of your online data will be deleted including inventory, purchases and reading history. You will still have your local copy, but all your online data is permanently deleted. If you delete the app from your device, all data will be permanently deleted. You can also request deletion of your data by mailing a request to Storylines@reli.sh.

My data is deleted, can I get it back?

If you have deleted your online data AND deleted the app from your device, it is permanently deleted there is now way to get it back. If you have deleted your online data and you still have the app on your device you can open the "hamburger menu" on the top right of the app and select account. Click the Sign In button. Click the Restore button. This will create an online version of the data on your device. This will not recover data from other devices.

I press the “Sign in with Google” button and nothing happens?

This is a known issue on some Android phones. Your account ID will also just show “Account ID”. To correct this simply close the app and start it again. To close an app on Android swipe up from the bottom, hold, then let go. Swipe up on the app.
